The song "Go Tell Aunt Rhody" (2017) is a cover of the main theme from the globally acclaimed video game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The music video was well received by fans, surpassing 800,000 views on YouTube. It was also appreciated by Koshi Nakanishi and the Capcom development team behind the game.
In late 2017 and throughout 2018, ππ―ππ§ ππ’π§π was among the main artists performing at One More Light Italia, the Italian memorial concert dedicated to Chester Bennington. The 2018 edition featured former members of Orgy and Dead By Sunrise, Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh, with their band Julien-K. Ivan had the honor of performing one of his favorite songs, βMorning Afterβ, together with them.
On December 15, 2019, ππ―ππ§ ππ’π§π released the single βWithout Fearβ, followed by the EP βThe Ballad of the Dead Manβ in late January 2020. The industrial EP was produced and mastered by NeroArgento, and the track "Without Fear" was chosen by the Californian industrial act DK-Zero for a remix.
In January 2023, ππ―ππ§ ππ’π§π released the single βExtinctionβ, accompanied by a sci-fi horror music video. In 2024, he followed it with βStalkerβ on March 1 as a guest vocalist for The Distortionist, βOblivionβ on May 10, and a cover of βMy Own Summer (Shove It)β by Deftones on October 18. He then released βWhite Eyesβ in May 2025.
On February 20, 2026, Heartlay released the song βVilifiedβ, featuring Ivan King on vocals, alongside a music video directed by Nicolas Jeff Thibaud.
